The sun is setting on my heart
as I sit here and do nothing
I watch my life go by
doing nothing
The voices of the wispering trees call to me
Bringing their sorrow to this old world of ours
Singing of all the lives they have watched die
The call for me to come to them
I stand and watch as the masses dissaper
withing the wispering trees of life/death
they call to me
they say to me "The end is here, come be with us"
they sing to me "Your love is dead, come be with her"
they sing on and on
I watch my life wither around me
As the wispering trees prosper with the death of the world
With the longing cry to me, to come to them
The sun is setting on my life
The wispering trees say that I am the last
They to are longing to die
Their song is sung
The world is done
The wispering trees of life
have won
for I am gone
